Win a Boat with LaserPerformance
A BLAST TO SAIL, MODERN DESIGN, AND FEATURE-RICH... THE BUG IS A SHOT OF ADRENALINE THAT IS EQUALLY POTENT FOR BEGINNERS AND EXPERTS.
The newest addition to the LaserPerformance family. The Bug is an extremely competent performance dinghy with windsurfer like agility and quickness. Designed by Jo Richards, the Bug is an exceptional dinghy, especially for those looking to enhance their sailing skills and eventually compete.
Excellent hydrodynamics push the Bug into the future with outstanding up wind performance and ultimate off-the-breeze sailing. Unique hull is a combination of performance and style in a stable platform. Superior down wind planning control.
The Bug represents the latest thinking in small boat design. The hull features a dynamic, sleek shape that is compact yet open enough to accommodate an adult and child. It's constructed from super linear triple layer foam sandwich polyethylene construction. Without getting into too much detail, "Super" refers to an extra long polyethylene molecule that provides the hull extra stiffness. In addition, the latest thinking in hydro dynamics went into insuring the hull is stable, easy to right, and above all -- fast.
When it comes to transporting the Bug, it is light and easily car-toppable. But that is not all. With the optional hull mounted wheel it can be easily moved around the boat park. So, you don't need to wait for a friend to help move it around.
